École des Mines de Saint-Étienne is France’s oldest elite engineering school outside Paris, and the fifth oldest among France’s 250 « Grandes Écoles ».
Jean Monnet University is a member of the University of Lyon, an academic site of excellence ranking as the 2nd largest research and training centre in France with nearly 150,000 students.
École Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Saint-Étienne (ENISE) became an internal school of École Centrale de Lyon in January 2021. Over a five-year period, this school provides tomorrow’s industrial engineers with a strong technical understanding in mechanical engineering, civil engineering and engineering physics.
