Description

Elizabeth A Cooper, who was severely disabled by polio in her childhood, was a significant leader in the disability rights movement. She was one of the founders of the Disabled Persons Assembly Palmerston North and was a staunch advocate in supporting people with disabilities. Elizabeth passed away in 2001, this grant was established by Massey University in her memory.

Benefits

The scholarship offers usually between $500 and $1,000 to help you with your studies.

  • You will be enrolled full time or part time in an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification at Massey University in the year of the award.
  • You must be registered with the Massey University Disability Services.
