Description

Eligibility

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be commencing an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree in the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
  • Be a female-identifying student.
  • Intend to study Full-Time and internally (i.e. on campus).
  • Demonstrated record of high academic achievement.
  • Can demonstrate the ability to work hard to achieve their goals.
  • Preference will be given to students who can demonstrate financial hardship or disadvantage.

Applicants will need to provide two references, one from an academic source (e.g. school principal) and one from another person who can comment on suitability for this scholarship. Short-listed applicants may be contacted to attend an informal interview with representatives of Macquarie University. The application will include a personal statement that should discuss the following four questions:
