Description
Dr. Mickie L. Edwardson obtained her Ph.D. in Communication from MSU’s College of Communication Arts and Sciences. Dr. Edwardson wished to establish the scholarship in memory and in recognition of the contributions of James Lawrence Fly, chairman of the Federal Communications Commission from 1939-1944, who guided the belief that broadcasters should provide multiple viewpoints to create an informed electorate.
