Description
Victor G. Spaniolo was a graduate of Michigan State University and a well-established newspaper publisher in Michigan. Spaniolo and his four children, also graduates of MSU, all worked at The State News, the campus newspaper. Spaniolo later was a founding member and chair of the board of directors when The State News became an independent, nonprofit corporation. Family members established the Victor G. and Eleanor F. Spaniolo Endowed Scholarship in Journalism in memory of their parents.
