The Baker Law Firm advocates for their clients' rights on a daily basis, and this experience has cultivated an immense passion for justice. They understand that lawyers are not the only professionals who have an impact on the criminal justice process, and we have come to appreciate the importance of each individual role in the criminal justice system.

Their scholarship provides $1,000 in funding to use toward a person's college education. The award may be used on tuition, room and board, books, or other expenses. 

Eligibility

  • The student is pursuing a degree with a major or concentration in criminal justice.
  • The student maintains a grade point average of 3.2 or higher.
  • The student is an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college or university within the United States.
  • The student is at least 17 years of age.
  • The student is a citizen of the United States.

All students must apply through the digital application located at the bottom of this page. Applications will not be accepted via email. Students must submit proof that they are enrolled at an accredited university and proof of their current GPA. These documents may include an unofficial transcript, letter of acceptance, class schedule, or other relevant information. Additionally, all applicants must submit an essay of no more than 1,000 words answering the following prompt:
