Description
This scholarship was developed in 1988 and implemented in 1992 by William Zuppa on behalf of the entire Zuppa family. The scholarship honors Giovanna Zuppa, who was born on June 24, 1900, in a small town in southern Italy. Giovanna was very proud of her Italian-American heritage. Three of her sons served honorably in the United States military during WWII, Korea and Vietnam. Four of her grandchildren are USF alumni.

Eligibility
- This scholarship is intended to encourage American students involved in Italian culture to further their education at USF. This scholarship is for all USF undergraduate and graduate level students with strong consideration given to American students of Italian heritage or students involved in Italian culture.
- Requires personal statement, student resume and a brief statement describing your involvement in Italian culture.
