The Estevez Group, PC is committed to helping people in crisis, particularly in issues of immigration such as family-based immigration, naturalization, and marriage-based green cards.
In furtherance of this commitment, we are opening up the Hope for Humanity Scholarship for undergraduate and graduate students looking to better their communities in collaboration with a nonprofit.
The winner of the scholarship will be awarded $1,000 for his or her education.
To be considered for this scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:
Applicants must submit a typed essay responding to the following prompt in no more than 500 words:
How has your personal journey shaped your passion for human rights, and how do you plan to create change in one of the scholarship’s focus areas through your internship or future career?
In addition to your essay, please provide the following documents as separate attachments:
A resume that highlights your academic achievements, volunteer work, activism, or other relevant experiences;
A letter of confirmation from the non-profit organization where you will intern;
A letter of recommendation from a professor, employer, or mentor in recognition of your work and devotion to human rights;
Document(s) demonstrating your proof of enrollment as well as your most recently achieved GPA.
