For over 25 years, the Law Office of Kari H. Fawcett has protected the rights of Maryland residents, providing representation in personal injury and family law cases.
Law Office of Kari H. Fawcett goal is to foster a new generation of legal professionals across the country. They are opening up the Young Legal Professionals Scholarship to help break down financial barriers for students who are studying law.
Each semester, one student will receive $1,000 to further his or her studies.
Select students may apply for the Young Legal Professionals Scholarship under the following conditions:
To be considered for the scholarship, please review the eligibility requirements and submit all requested materials before August 17, 2026.
If you meet the above criteria, you are invited to apply for the scholarship. Please attach proof of your enrollment at an accredited university or law school (.docx or PDF files of your acceptance letter, class schedule, or other proof of enrollment).
In addition to providing all required information and documentation, eligible students should answer the question on the right-hand side of this page in essay format in no more than 1,000 words:
What responsibility do lawyers have to their clients?
Your response should demonstrate a passion for the law and what you have learned in your studies and experiences. This response should be uploaded as a .docx or .pdf file.
After each deadline, their team typically takes approximately four weeks to select and notify the winner.
