3 years of support for your full-time Bachelor's degree studies or for the first three years of a full-time joint Bachelor’s and Master’s degree study programme. 2 years of support for your full-time Masters's degree studies.
Scholarships are available for studies in selected fields supporting the development of Slovakia.
Benefits
The scholarship programme grants up to €15,000. The scholarship is paid out monthly over the first three continuing academic years of the bachelor’s degree programme, combined bachelor’s and master’s degree study programme or two continuing academic years of master’s degree programme in Slovakia, with a payment of €500 per month. The academic year in Slovakia starts on September 1st and ends on August 31st of the following year. The scholarship is provided for a duration of ten months each year, from September through June.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- citizenship of a country other than Slovakia, which must be confirmed by an acceptable form of identification
- no permanent or temporary residence in Slovakia since January 1st, 2020 until the date of submitting the scholarship application
- no prior study at a secondary school or higher education institution (HEI) in Slovakia, except for academic mobilities.
- completed secondary education for applicants applying for a scholarship at the bachelor's or combined bachelor's and master's level (it may be completed in the academic year 2024/2025; verified by the HEI during the admission process), or completed first-level higher education (bachelor's degree) for applicants applying for a scholarship at the master's level (verified by the HEI during the admission process),
- for applicants for a scholarship at the bachelor's or combined bachelor's and master's level: admission to a public Slovak HEI for a bachelor's study programme or a combined bachelor's and master's study programme, with studies taking place in the territory of the Slovak Republic (at the time of submitting the scholarship application, it is sufficient to have applied to a public Slovak HEI).

Please note that the application must be submitted exclusively electronically online at this website, and it is not possible to request the scholarship via email.
Do not forget that receiving a scholarship does not mean acceptance or enrolment at a HEI.
