Description

The Saint Ignatius College Riverview Independent School Scholarship has been established to offer students a unique opportunity to work at a leading Independent School within the Greater Sydney area.

The scholarship will be awarded to a student with an excellent academic record who will contribute to the curricular and co-curricular life of this School.

This scholarship is funded by Saint Ignatius' College Riverview.

Benefits

This scholarship is valued at $12,000 per annum for full-time bachelor's degree recipient and is tenable for up to one year.

This scholarship is valued at $9,000 per annum for full-time master's degree recipient and is tenable for up to nine months.

Eligibility

You must:

  • be planning to be enrolled full-time in the final year in one of the following degrees:
    • Bachelor of Education (Primary)
    • Bachelor of Education (Secondary)
    • Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Secondary)
    • Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)
    • Bachelor of Education (Health and Physical Education)
    • Bachelor of Education (Secondary: Humanities and Social Sciences) and Bachelor of Arts
    • Bachelor of Education (Secondary Education: Science) and Bachelor of Science
    • Bachelor of Education (Secondary Education: Mathematics) and Bachelor of Science
    • Master of Teaching (Primary)
    • Master of Education (Special and Inclusive Education)
    • Master of Teaching (Secondary)
    • Master of Teaching (Early Childhood)
  • be studying in one or more of the following areas of study:
    • Early childhood teaching
    • Primary teaching
    • Secondary teaching in Italian, French, Chinese, economics, business, commerce, mathematics, science, English, and/or learning enrichment
  • have a weighted average mark (WAM) of at least 75 across the past two years of study (bachelor degree only).
