Description
This scholarship was established in 2020 to provide assistance to honours and postgraduate research students studying in the Department of History to pursue advanced studies or research in the field of history.
This scholarship is funded by a bequest made by the Honourable John Frazer, MLC in 1890.
Benefits
This scholarship is valued at $5,000 per annum for full-time honours students, $8,500 per annum for full-time master's by research or PhD students and is tenable for up to one year.
This scholarship is valued at $2,500 per annum for part-time honours students, $4,250 per annum for part-time master's by research or PhD students and is tenable for up to two years.
Eligibility
You must:
- be enrolled to study history in the School of Humanities in a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in History, combined Bachelor of Arts and Advanced Studies final year (Honours in History), Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Honours in History), master's by research or PhD.
- be conducting research in history (if you are enrolled in a postgraduate research degree).
