This scholarship is deeply personal for their firm, as Attorney Sheri Coover worked through college as a single parent raising four children and wants to help other parents taking on the same challenges.

Eligibility

If you would like to apply for the Parents With Passion Scholarship, you must meet all of our eligibility requirements below:

  • You must be a single parent.
  • You must maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  • You must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an undergraduate or graduate program within the United States for the Spring or Fall 2026 semester.
  • You must be at least 17 years old.
  • You must be a citizen of the United States.

All applications must be submitted before the final deadline of May 4, 2026 at 11:59 PM. The winner of this scholarship will receive a total of $1,000 for his or her college tuition, class materials, or other school expenses.

Additionally, please answer the following prompt as a written essay. This essay should be approximately 750 words in length.
