Description
These scholarship awards are made to overseas fee-paying offer-holders from selected countries for September 2026 entry.
This award aims to reward students who can demonstrate a background of achievement and success.
Benefits
The Bath Merit Scholarship is worth £5,000 and is available for overseas fee-paying students permanently domiciled in selected countries who have an outstanding academic record.
The awards are available for full-time taught master's courses in the Faculties of Engineering and Design, Humanities and Social Sciences and Science and can only be used as fee waivers towards the cost of tuition fees.
Excluding MRes courses, Integrated undergraduate Master’s courses, March (Hons) Architecture, Degree Apprenticeship Programmes, MA Contemporary European Studies (Euromasters) and MA Contemporary European Studies with Transatlantic Track (Euromasters).
Eligibility
To be eligible for the award, you must:
- hold an offer from the University of Bath for a full-time, campus-based postgraduate taught master's course starting in 2026*
- be permanently domiciled in one of the countries listed below and be a graduate or studying your degree at a university in the same country. You must have studied the whole of your degree in the country:
