Description

This scholarship is open to graduates of nominated Hong Kong universities who hold an offer to study a master's course with us.

Sir Jack Cater was awarded an Honorary Degree from the University of Bath in 1995.

He was the founding head of Hong Kong's Independent Commission Against Corruption, and went on to become Hong Kong's Chief Secretary, Acting Governor and Commissioner in London.

This scholarship is awarded on behalf of his family and the Parthenon Trust to students of nominated Hong Kong universities.

Eligibility

You can apply for this scholarship if you are a graduate of Hong Kong University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) or Hong Kong Baptist University and:

  • have a confirmed offer to study a full-time taught postgraduate master's course at the University of Bath for 2026
  • have firmly accepted your conditional or unconditional offer

To apply you must first hold an offer for an eligible master's course. You can then complete the University of Bath scholarship application form using Application Tracker when application open.

They will ask you to complete three questions as part of the scholarship application process.
