Description
The Indigenous Graduate Scholarships were established to encourage Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, Métis) students to pursue graduate studies in any discipline.
Benefits
Various of up to $5,000/year for any graduate student for one year.
Eligibility
- Selection will be based on research budget justification and demonstrated connection between research and fulfillment of Indigenous community responsibilities.
- Students must maintain satisfactory progress and full-time registration for the duration of the scholarship.
- Students entering full-time graduate studies in May, September, or January following the application deadline, or registered full-time in any graduate program, who self-identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit or Métis).

The online Indigenous Graduate Scholarship Application Form is available on the OGPS website and includes a required declaration of Indigenous identity. Applicants must also submit a 1-2 page research budget via the online application.
