Description
Germany’s national scholarship program has been supporting young talent for more than ten years. At TUM alone, over 5,900 scholarship holders have received both financial and non-material support. Behind this number are just as many young people with different life paths.
Benefits
The scholarship consists of a tuiton fee waiver.
Eligibility
- Who can apply: currently enrolled undergraduates and graduates with university entrance certificates from Germany or abroad.
- Qualification requirements: Primary criteria are academic achievement and aptitude. Social engagement, a sense of responsibility and special circumstances such as physical handicaps or a minority status (immigrant background) are also taken into consideration.
- International applicants: You can apply from abroad. If you receive an offer of a Deutschlandstipendium from us and wish to accept it, you must have a German residence and have a German bank account. If you cannot provide proof of these requirements by October 15, the offer of funding will expire. Therefore, please take care of these requirements and, if necessary, a visa as early as possible.
