Description

The School of Art Scholarships for Current Students offers a variety of scholarships for entering freshmen/transfer students and for current undergraduate and graduate art majors. Awards are based on academic achievement; commitment to the art, art history or design major; and/or financial need (FAFSA not required for all scholarships). Criteria vary with the scholarships offered.

Eligibility

Students must be currently enrolled as Art, Art History or Design majors, and must meet the following requirements:

  • Undergraduate students must have completed at least two quarters as Art, Art History or Design majors at the UW prior to upcoming Autumn quarter. Graduate students must have completed at least one quarter as Art, Art History or Design majors prior to the upcoming Autumn quarter.
  • Students must enroll for at least two quarters as Art, Art History or Design majors during the upcoming academic year
  • Students who complete their senior-level series in Art by August of the current year are not eligible to receive an award
