Description
Co-funded Co-funded Monash Graduate Scholarship (CF-MGS) is provided by Monash University to support students undertaking Research Doctorate and Research Masters degrees.
These scholarships are co-funded by Monash University and the enrolling faculty/academic unit and are available to help support students with living costs whilst studying at Monash.
Benefits
The scholarship offers a $37,145 p.a (2026 rate) amount, to help you with your studies
The CF-MGS provides:
A living allowance (stipend), and
A relocation allowance, if eligible.
Successful international applicants will also be awarded a faculty tuition paying scholarship.
Eligibility
You must be one of the following:
- An Australian citizen
- A New Zealand citizen
- Australian permanent resident
- Australian humanitarian visa holder
- An International student
You must meet the following criteria:
- meet Monash's competitive scholarship selection process requirements and
- meet Monash's English language proficiency requirements.

Graduate research scholarships applications are submitted at the same time as your course application, unless you are already enrolled.
Whether you are a new applicant or a current student, the myApp Portal is used for both course admission and scholarship applications.
You do not need to select specific scholarships, eligible applicants are automatically considered for all available graduate research scholarships.
