Applications should indicate what the funding is to be used for. Awards will be granted not necessarily on the grounds of musical ability but to those who are keen and enthusiastic musicians wanting to develop their skills.
According to the wishes of the donor, the award will favour those who have come to music through a non-mainstream route and have some involvement in jazz and/or popular music.
