Eligibility
- Non-Chinese citizens;
- Should be friendly to China, have no criminal record, and abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and the rules and regulations of the school;
- In good physical and mental conditions, and with a good record of academic performance and conduct;
- Aspiring to work in the Chinese language education and related fields;
- Aged between16 and 35 (as of 1 September, 2025, with the special allowance for the age limit of 45 for applicants currently working as Chinese language teachers and that of 25 for undergraduate student applicants.

Online registration will be available from February 20 on the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website.
You may search for Recommending Institutions and Host Institutions; submit application materials online; and track the application process.
The successful applicant must confirm with the Host Institutions to go through the procedures of studying in China, and register at the Host Institution on the designated date as per the Letter of Admission.
For programmes commencing in July, applicants must complete their applications before April 15.
For programmes commencing in September, applicants must complete their applications before May 15.
For programmes commencing in December, applicants must complete their applications before September 15.
