Description

This scholarship is made annually to a full-time graduate student who has a minimum average of 80% in the MA Applied Linguistics (TESL) program, and who in the judgment of the MA Applied Linguistics (TESL) Addendum.

Eligibility

Applicants intending to pursue a thesis at the MA level will be given preference.
To be eligible to apply for internal awards, scholarships, and bursaries, the graduate student must be registered as a full-time student.
A student who is withdrawn from the university or has a change of status will have their scholarship eligibility reviewed and adjustments to their financial support.
Must have a minimum average of 80% in the MA Applied Linguistics (TESL) program

The successful applicant will be selected based on entry grades, a two-page essay (which applicants may submit at the time of submitting their application or on the Graduate Program Committee’s request) and demonstrated interest in graduate studies in Applied Linguistics (TESL).

At the time you submit your application to graduate studies at Brock University you are required to complete and submit the Graduate Student Internal Entrance Scholarship/Award Application which will appear on your applicant portal account as a document required for admission. After you have submitted your graduate studies application, instructions to activate your applicant portal account will be sent via email.
