Description
This annual Ralph D. Morris Graduate Student Award is for a full-time student in the first or second year of graduate studies at Brock University. Candidates ought to have personal characteristics that reflect the best of what it is to be a graduate student in a research-oriented program. While not exhaustive, such characteristics ought to demonstrate an enquiring and innovative mind, a spirit of confidence and independence, a research ability and maturity beyond chronological age, and a high potential for future leadership within the student’s academic area. The student will also have been involved, either in graduate representation on University committees, or in University activities that reflect well on graduate students.

- To be eligible to apply for internal awards, scholarships, and bursaries, the graduate student must be registered as a full-time student.
- A student who is withdrawn from the university or has a change of status will have their scholarship eligibility reviewed and adjustments to their financial support.

After you have submitted your graduate studies application, instructions to activate your applicant portal account will be sent via email.
A letter of support from the student’s graduate Supervisor must be included in the application.
