Description
This W. D. Hatch Memorial Postgraduate Scholarship is made annually to an outstanding full-time student during the first or second year of a graduate program. Restricted to students of first-class academic standing whose thesis research is concerned with, in the first instance, a significant aspect of viticulture or oenology or, secondly, with the application of Biotechnology to problems related to Agriculture.

Eligibility
- To be eligible to apply for internal awards, scholarships, and bursaries, the graduate student must be registered as a full-time student.
- A student who is withdrawn from the university or has a change of status will have their scholarship eligibility reviewed and adjustments to their financial support.
- The recipient must demonstrate financial need and meet OSAP residency requirements.
