Description

Each year LSE awards a number of scholarships, funded by private or corporate donations. The number, value, eligibility criteria and type of scholarships vary from year to year.

All scholarships are awarded on the basis of financial circumstances in the first instance, and secondly take into account academic merit.

In 1964 the late Professor Hilde Himmelweit founded the Department of Social Psychology at LSE. The scholarships are a tribute to her work.

Benefits

There are normally up to three scholarships with a value of £2,000 each.
