Description
The Faculty of Engineering are delighted to be offering our Faculty of Engineering International Scholarship to all eligible undergraduate, self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying offer holders joining a course in September.
All self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying offer holders with strong academic qualifications are encouraged to apply. Please note - you must hold an offer to a full-time undergraduate degree course starting in September in the Faculty of Engineering before your scholarship application will be considered.
Benefits
If you're applying for an undergraduate degree course, you'll receive a scholarship award equivalent to a 15% reduction of your fees for each year of study. Your first year’s scholarship will typically be £4,650.
Eligibility
- If you're applying for an undergraduate degree course, you'll receive a scholarship award equivalent to a 15% reduction of your fees for each year of study. This is typically £4,650 for your first year of study on courses with a fee of £30,950. The amount varies for selected courses with a different fee, including courses within Architecture and Biomedical Engineering.
- The Faculty of Engineering’s International Scholarship is only available to eligible self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying applicants enrolling on a full-time course within the University of Strathclyde’s campus in Glasgow.
- Those who receive full sponsorship from a government office or embassy are not eligible for this scholarship.
- In order to be considered for a scholarship an applicant must hold an offer to study a full-time course in the 2026/27 academic year.
- Students are only eligible for one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde.
- Students who do not meet any of the required criteria in this announcement will automatically not be considered.
- The Faculty of Engineering's decision on the awarding of scholarships is final.
