Description
The global INSEAD community is a unique and diverse blend of all nationalities, cultures, backgrounds, languages, religions and genders.
Their goal is to provide opportunities for all, including those from the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) communities. Emmanuel Goldstein MBA’00D established this endowed scholarship in 2020 to encourage and help LGBT students, allies and activists to attend the INSEAD MBA programme and express his support of INSEAD as an inclusive school.
Applicants for the scholarship must demonstrate their capacity to be a leader for the LBGT community at INSEAD. We expect the scholarship holder to contribute actively to campus life, to the INSEAD blog and especially to lead initiatives that benefit the LGBT community.
Emmanuel Goldstein has been involved in many efforts to promote diversity and inclusion more broadly at his company and when Dean Ilian Mihov launched a new initiative for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at INSEAD, it brought back memories of when Goldstein helped found the school’s first gay and lesbian club in 2000. “I decided I wanted to contribute to grow the initiative faster,” Goldstein said. “I also wanted to get the message across that INSEAD is the most inclusive school.”
