Description

In April 1998 GSA loaned forty works of art from its Archives and Collections to the Hida Takayama Museum of Art in Takayama, Japan for a Charles Rennie Mackintosh exhibition. Mr Mukai, Director of the museum provided GSA with an endowment to establish this scholarship, to assist Japanese students to undertake study at GSA and to further mutual understanding and cultural development between the two countries.

  • Open to all Master’s programmes.
  • Open to Japanese residents (i.e. those paying full international fees) to undertake taught or research postgraduate study at the GSA.
