Overview
Key features
The International Health and Social Management programme from the MCI - The Entrepreneurial School® – taught entirely in English – targets the future requirements of international cooperation in the health and social sectors, considering that the demand for qualified experts in these fields is on the rise.
In addition to receiving practical training, students are given the opportunity to improve their soft skills as well as their research methods. They are guaranteed to benefit from the progressive outlook of the programme, which places as much importance on practical relevance as on international values.
The degree programme adopts a blended learning approach and, thus, includes both on-campus classes and online lessons. This allows students a great degree of freedom and flexibility in the completion of their studies, while providing plenty of opportunity to interact with both teachers and fellow students.
While Studying
MCI study programmes stand out due to the quality of their content, relevance to the business world, and their international orientation.
The close cooperation with partners from industry and integrative internships enable students to gain practical experience as early as in their Bachelor’s studies. In addition to providing expert knowledge, MCI places great importance on encouraging personal development and the development of social and intercultural competencies.
Learning Goals
In order to ensure the transfer of learning and to enable students to develop relevant competencies, MCI has defined clear cross-curricular learning goals. These describe, in detail, the knowledge and skills acquired by our graduates on completion of their studies at MCI.
After Studying
Graduates of the programme are conferred the academic title of Master of Arts in Business, in short MA or M.A. This is attested by a leaving certificate, the Master diploma, the international diploma supplement, and further documents where relevant. MCI Alumni are entitled to combine their academic degree with the brand “MCI” to provide trust and orientation in an increasingly intransparent international education market.
Accreditation
International Health & Social Management targets individuals seeking to advance international cooperation in the social and health care sectors. It was one of the first study programs in Europe to be awarded the Certificate for Quality in Internationalization (CeQuInt) by the European Consortium for Accreditation.
