The Management MSc program from Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB key facts:
Strong foundations are the focus in this Master in Management. You’ll build the knowledge needed for a wide range of management positions. Learning from professors from academia and industry, you’ll master a range of transferable skills, including analysis, communication, practicality, intellectual creativity, triple bottom line thinking, ethics and cross-cultural awareness.
We pay special attention to concepts such as sustainability, economic intuition and vision, as these are important elements in modern management. Our courses are carefully selected with a very international and multidisciplinary audience in mind. So, we'll always consider a wider context, preparing you for management positions in varied and complex international environments.
The master's program consists of 60 ECTS. Covering a wide view of the business and economics domains, courses include accounting, finance, informatics, strategy, human resources management, marketing, supply chain management and a master's thesis.
There is a strong focus on developing analytical skills through a variety of courses providing interactive exercises and group work, such as business games. The programme is offered only in evening classes.
Accreditation
All degree programs offered by VUB are accredited by the Dutch-Flemish Accreditation Organisation (NVAO), ensuring that they meet the highest predefined quality standards. Alongside this official quality control system, VUB has an internal Quality Control Commission in charge of permanently monitoring the quality of education.

General requirements
Admission after screening with preparatory program
Prospective students with non-Flemish degrees will be evaluated based on their academic background, results, motivation, and language skills and can enter the programme via a 21 or 27-credit preparatory programme. The preparation program and the master's can be taken together but in practice, two academic years is a more realistic time frame for many students. Students with a master's degree should not take the subject 'Research Methods for Business '.
This program is designed for prospective students who have an academic bachelor's or a master's degree but possess limited or no prior academic experience in business, economics, and/or management. Prospective students with the following degrees will not be eligible:
- Business Administration
- International Business
- Commerce
- Management
- Business Economics
