Programme details
The Master of Science programme in Maritime Affairs is designed to extend the professional education that WMU has offered to a new clientele in China to meet the maritime industry’s demand for high-level specialized professionals. Maritime transport is an integral part of the globalized logistics chain. Consequently the rise and fall, success or failure, of shipping is no longer a pure shipping matter determined only by a transport-related decision. It is rather an integrated issue, the solution to which depends on a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain management. The ITL programme educates high-level professionals with management, analytical and practical skills to meet the challenges of today’s complex maritime industry.
The programme is taught entirely in English and the entry requirements, grading system and quality assurance processes are those in force at WMU Headquarters. Successful students graduate with a WMU Master of Science degree in International Transport & Logistics.
