About this Degree

The Service Design program from Domus Academy is addressed to candidates who have a first-level degree and/or professional experience in visual and graphic design, interaction design, architecture, or creative coding.

It is also open to candidates with a background in business design, communication science, new media, psychology, sociology, or equivalent, if they are motivated by interest in service design and have a strong portfolio.

All courses are taught in English. A high level of proficiency in the English language is required.

Programme Structure

Coursework focuses on storytelling and visual narratives, business design thinking, and design thinking. You will learn to solve human-centered problems by using technology, visual design, and human factors to create user-friendly, relevant service experiences.

Our master’s programmes are also open to students with a different degree or diploma, provided that the applicant is motivated by strong interest in the program’s topics and demonstrates the necessary technical skills.
The programme leader and members of the Admissions Committee evaluate each application and determine whether the candidate’s previous education and technical skills meet the entry requirements.
Knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken, is a prerequisite for admission. Your certificate must be submitted at least two months before the beginning of the programme and should not be older than two years.
