Overview
Shape the Future with Your Knowledge!
The field of info-bionics integrates computer science, electronics, and biotechnology. The goal of our interdisciplinary Master's program in Info-Bionics is to enhance students' complex modeling competencies and develop proficiency in operating and designing tools. A deep understanding of biological processes and measurements strengthens the development of engineering solutions, devices, computational algorithms, and models used in biological systems.
Practice-Oriented Education, Broad and Marketable Knowledge
Application and Research Examples: prosthetics, rehabilitation, bionic glasses, brain-computer interfaces, neural electrodes, limb operation, wheelchair navigation, minimally invasive surgical tools, multimodal medical imaging, bioinformatics, intelligent or sensor-operated robotics, nanosensors.

- Bioinformatics
SPECIALIZATIONS
- Bionic Interfaces: focuses on technologies for human–machine interfaces and interaction with the human body. Students learn how to obtain control signals and sensory feedback to operate prosthetic devices or restore lost functions. Applications include rehabilitation technologies, sensory robotics, sports performance analysis, and innovative ways of interacting with computers.
- Neural Data Science: focuses on the analysis and interpretation of data generated in quantitative neuroscience. Students combine applied neuroscience, data science, and machine learning to process large neural datasets and support the development of diagnostic and therapeutic technologies. The programme provides insight into neuroscience measurement methods, data types, and processing algorithms.
Audience
The programme is ideal for students aiming to develop technologies inspired by biological systems and to work in biomedical innovation, neurotechnology, or interdisciplinary research (graduates in engineering, computer science, physics, biomedical engineering, biotechnology, or related fields who are interested in the intersection of technology and life sciences).
