Welcome to the International Master's degree program in Biomedical Engineering at University of Lübeck!

Lübeck is one of the leading locations in the field of biomedical engineering. Since 2002, the University of Lübeck and the Lübeck University of Applied Sciences have been welcoming students from all over the world to study for a Master of Science degree in the joint Biomedical Engineering program.

The aim of the course is to train students in the interdisciplinary fields of engineering and medicine.

"Biomedical Engineering combines physical, chemical, mathematical and computational sciences with engineering principles to explore biology, medicine, behavior and health. It advances fundamental concepts, creates knowledge from the molecular to the organ systems level, and develops innovative biological products, materials, procedures, implants, devices and informatics approaches to prevent, diagnose and treat disease, rehabilitate patients and improve health."

Applicants for the Master Program in Biomedical Engineering in Lübeck must have a university or university of applied sciences degree (e.g. Bachelor's Degree) in one of the following areas:
