General requirements
The minimum entry requirement to the programme is a 2:2 undergraduate degree (Level 8 - National Qualifications Authority of Ireland) (or equivalent) in Aeronautical Engineering, or closely related field). For international students, the entry equivalent will be accepted as determined by the Course Director in consultation with Graduate and Professional Studies Admissions.
- The ideal applicant will have a good background in the fields of solid and fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, aerodynamics and flight mechanics .
- Where applicants are non-native English language speakers, applicants must meet the English Language Requirements | University of Limerick (ul.ie) as set out by the University.
