Overview
The Facilities Management degree at MARA Technological University consists of diverse fields with the innovative series of courses focusing on Facilities Management profession that requires proper functioning of built environment by integrating people, places, processes and technologies in order to support the organizational strategic objectives.
Key Features
The program is designed for all associated disciplines in built environment especially for those working in the Facilities Management and/or property profession. Competence individuals who wish to enter the career in Facilities Management are also welcomed. Programme is also accredited by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyor (RICS), UK.
Candidates need to complete a total of 45 credit hours of coursework. The total credit hours include program core and specialization courses (36 credit hours), research project (6 credit hours) and elective courses (3 credit hours).

General requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Built Environment or related discipline from UiTM/Institutions of Higher Learning recognized by the Senate of UiTM with minimum CGPA of 2.75; or
- A Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in any relevant field recognized by the Senate of UiTM with minimum CGPA of 2.75; or
- A Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in any relevant field recognized by the Senate of UiTM with minimum CGPA of 2.5 with at least three (3) years relevant working experience in Facilities Management or related field; or
- A Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in any relevant field recognized by the Senate of UiTM with minimum CGPA of 2.3 with at least seven (7) years relevant working experience in Facilities Management or related field; or
- Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL).
- Candidates without a qualification in the related fields must undergo and pass the prerequisite courses offered by the faculty before enrolling in the program.
