Overview
During the International Leisure, Tourism and Events Management master’s degree from NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences you dive into the past, the present and the future of this dynamic sector. You explore social theories on leisure behaviour, develop innovative and meaningful experiences, and research current issues in society. Using tools such as transition management and risk management, you’ll work on strategies for a sustainable future.
You'll learn how to form policies and translate them into plans, and develop an astute, critical viewpoint when analysing policy in a range of contexts and at different levels. The focus lies on creativity and you’ll be encouraged to think about today’s bigger challenges, such as better distribution of prosperity, more efficient use of scarce resources in tourism, events and leisure, and changes in mobility.
And just as importantly, you’ll be given every opportunity to grow professionally and personally. During your studies, you’ll constantly find opportunities to use your expertise and impact this continually evolving branch.
