Overview
At Religious Studies programme at The Chinese University of Hong Kong emphasis on experiential learning is a distinctive feature. Since religion is a living phenomenon in our society, fieldwork constitutes a core learning activity for students to integrate religious theory and application, and to gain a greater understanding of the daily religious practices of people, both locally and overseas.
Over the past years, students participated in a large number of field trips organized either by individual courses or research centres to visit religious sites in Hong Kong, Macao, Mainland China, Malacca, Japan, Portugal and so forth.

- Graduated from a recognized university and obtained a Bachelor’s degree (major subjects are not restricted), normally with honours not lower than Second Class; or
- Graduated from an honours programme of a recognized university with a Bachelor’s degree, normally achieving an average grade of not lower than “B”; or
- Completed a course of study in a tertiary education institution and obtained professional or similar qualifications equivalent to an honours degree; and
- Fulfill the "English Language Proficiency Requirement" as stipulated by the Gradaute School before being considered for admission.
