Overview

The general objective of the master's degree program Management of Business Organizations at the West University of Timisoara is to respond to the needs of the business environment and professional environments in the economic field, in terms of providing competent specialists in efficient business administration, regardless of the size, origin and structure of capital invested in the business organization. The program also focuses on developing students' analytical and scientific research capacity, in order to substantiate business decisions, as well as acquiring the necessary knowledge to implement them in the business environment.

• Understand the nature of an MNC.

• Understand the key forces that drive globalization and the current global economy

• Understand the conflicting pressures of the global–local dilemma faced by international managers in MNCs

• Know the content of the basic multinational strategies: transnational, international, multidomestic, and regional.

• Choose a multinational strategy by using

• Understand the importance of culture and the need to appreciate cultural differences.

• Know two of the most popular cultural frameworks (Hofstede and GLOBE) and how they explain differences between countries
