Overview
The Skoltech Mathematical and Theoretical Physics program provides a solid foundation in mathematics, a deep understanding of mathematical physics, and an opportunity for in-depth study of theoretical physics. Emphasis on independent research encourages students to acquire knowledge and skills essential for fast personal development and a successful scientific career.
The program is being developed and implemented jointly with the Master's educational programs "Mathematics" of the Faculty of Mathematics of the Higher School of Economics and "General and Applied Physics" of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. The learning outcomes are mutually recognized, and joint defenses of theses and dissertations are conducted. Joint seminars and conferences are organized and held.
