The Master's degree programme in Environmental, Process and Energy Engineering at MCI - The Entrepreneurial School® offers you practical engineering training and provides you with comprehensive knowledge to design both existing plants and new concepts sustainably. Supplementary content from business and law make the Master's programme a scientifically sound and internationally applicable course. The degree programme is offered in English in the full-time organizational form and in German in the part-time form. In the part-time version, selected courses are also taught in English.
The programme focuses on developing, implementing, monitoring and continuous optimization of process engineering processes as well as the use of new technologies with a particular focus on the fields of energy technology and environmental technology.
In this sense, process engineering is combined with other engineering fields. The programme also covers management, innovation, and law. Scientific and industrial project work is carried out as part of the courses, with a central focus on the solution of problems related to the industry.
While Studying
An MCI degree programme is characterized by its quality content, proximity to business, and internationality. Practical experience is gained through close cooperation with business partners during the master's degree programme. Personal development and the acquisition of social and intercultural skills are equally important components of the programme rounding out a comprehensive set of professional skills.

After Studying
Graduates of the programme are conferred the academic title of Master of Science in Engineering, in short MSc or M.Sc. This is attested by a leaving certificate, the Master diploma, the international diploma supplement, and further documents where relevant. MCI Alumni are entitled to combine their academic degree with the brand “MCI” to provide trust and orientation in an increasingly intransparent international education market.

- The Masters programme in Environmental, Process & Energy Engineering is open to graduates of relevant Bachelors programmes and graduates from other recognized and relevant post-secondary educational facilities.
- Applications for the English Master's programme (full-time) do not require proof of language proficiency, as English skills are checked during the admission procedure. If you have already obtained language certificates, they can be submitted as part of the online application process. Please note that the English admission test cannot be replaced by a language certificate.
