Overview

The programme in English and Applied Linguistics at the Namibia University of Science and Technology focuses on digital literacies, popular literature and the application of literary and linguistic knowledge to solve real world problems. Graduates of this qualification will be well - grounded in language, literary and communication skills through the use of appropriate technology and skills.

This will enable them to critically and creatively engage in a knowledge society that is marked by digital literacies and competencies. The curriculum i s structured to facilitate specialisation in the areas of Literature and Applied Linguistics with a particular focus on multi - media and digital forms. The qualification will consist of compulsory and elective courses and will be based on a combination of coursework and a thesis.
