Program Details

The Business Informatics program offered by Goethe University Frankfurt is designed as a consecutive degree program for students with a bachelor's degree in computer science with a focus on business/economics or a bachelor's degree in economics with a specialization in computer science. To align knowledge levels, the program includes an introductory phase with foundational courses, allowing students to supplement their computer science or economics expertise. Building on the knowledge and skills acquired during the bachelor's program, the master's program provides advanced, research-oriented knowledge and skills, particularly in the areas of information systems, simulation, artificial intelligence, e-business, process and supply chain management, and IT solutions in finance management. Participation in a project seminar or alternatively a seminar and an internship is mandatory. The program concludes with a master’s thesis.

General requirements

You need a bachelor's degree in computer science with a focus on business administration (20-24 CP), business administration, or economic science, or a bachelor's degree where the majority of the content is in computer science and economic science, with a standard period of study of at least 6 semesters/180 CP. Equivalent German or international degrees in the same or a related subject area with a standard period of study of at least 6 semesters/180 CP are also acceptable. For bachelor's degrees with a standard period of study of less than 8 semesters/240 CP, additional requirements must be fulfilled.
You need English language skills at level B1.
