Overview
European Studies, Double Degree Track with Konstanz University from University of Gothenburg focuses on contemporary European and International affairs. Students learn about European integration, EU and international institutions, comparative politics, and policy analysis. They focus on the pressing concerns that Europe and the world faces today such as climate change, economic and social inequality, digitalization, security, globalization, and migration.

- Training in research design and the methodological techniques of social science, prepare the students for being doctoral students and qualified independent analysts. We engage with alumni, which will promote entering a career in the private sector or with an international organization, national government, civil service, non-governmental organization, or academic institutions.
- The mandatory courses familiarize you with theories and current research on European integration, international relations, comparative politics, European economic integration, and social science research design as well as methodological techniques. The courses have problem-based research assignments that enable you to train your capacity in critical reflection and independent written and oral presentations. In addition to the mandatory courses, you choose from elective and semi-elective courses to style your studies by focusing on areas that fits your individual interests.

- A Bachelor's Degree (180 credits) with a minimum of 90 credits of courses in social science discipline(s) such as Business Administration, Economic Geography, Economic History, Economics, European Studies, Human Geography, International Relations, Journalism, Law, Media and Communication, Political Science, Psychology, Public Administration, Social Work, Sociology, or equivalent
- A Bachelor's Degree (180 credits) with a minimum 90 credits of courses in humanities discipline(s) such as Cultural Sciences, History, History of Ideas, Philosophy, Religious Studies, or equivalent
- Three years of studies (180 credits, equivalent of a Bachelor's Degree) at the Law, or equivalent
- Applicants must prove their knowledge of English: English 6/English B from Swedish Upper Secondary School or the equivalent level of an internationally recognized test, for example TOEFL, IELTS
