Overview
The three-semester degree program in Business Law from Mainz University of Applied Sciences offers you the opportunity to gain further professional qualifications if you are already working in an international environment or if you are looking for such a job. It will help you to make a successful start to an international career.
What's in store for you
In the first two semesters, lectures take place on Friday afternoons from 1:30 pm to 8:15 pm and Saturday mornings from 8:15 am to 1:30 pm (partly until 3:15 pm).
The winter semester lasts from the end of September to the end of January, the summer semester from the beginning of March to the end of June. Exams are written during the semester or during the week of exams directly after the semester. In addition, there will be a block week in early February and early July. There is no lecture-free period with this study model.

In many companies, the need for specialized commercial lawyers has been growing for years in order for companies to be able to assert themselves in global competition. For this reason, internationally oriented master's degrees are becoming increasingly important. General requirements
- Applicants who have successfully completed a university degree for which less than 210 ECTS credits but at least 180 ECTS credits have been earned may in individual cases be credited with relevant professional experience of at least one year in the amount of up to 30 ECTS credits in order to achieve the ECTS credits required for admission.
- Applicants must prove that they are proficient in English. Evidence is to be provided in one of the following forms:
- TOEFL iBT score 79 (as of 2008)
- TOEIC 750 points
- ILEC (Level B2)
- the acquisition of at least 30 ECTS credits from economics courses taught and examined entirely in English and for which the last exams have been completed within the last two years.
- IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Level B2 or higher
