The Outdoor Practice programme from The University of Lancashire is delivered over a number of weekends throughout the year with additional online support through group and one-to-one tutorials.

Whether a ‘newbie’ or ‘hardened professional,’ the course aims to challenge both yours and the outdoor sector’s intellectual and academic understanding through a vocational context.
The MA Outdoor Practice will enable you to demonstrate your skills as an outdoor researcher, practitioner, facilitator and/or educator.
Completion of the MA Outdoor Practice will support your future employment and prospects for promotion. Our graduates progress into fields such as coaching, management, education, research and beyond.

This course is accredited by the IOL, the professional body for individuals who use the outdoors to make a difference for others.
