The Culture, Media and Creative Industries Research (CMCI) programme at King's College London is renowned for its pioneering research across the domains of culture, media, and various creative industries. Located at the Strand Campus, which sits on the north bank of the River Thames, CMCI is at the heart of a vibrant cultural scene. Our research approach is interdisciplinary, combining theoretical insights with empirical studies, and we focus on a broad range of subjects including cultural policy, cultural management, creative economies, and the impact of digital technologies on culture. We are also developing collaborative research with the Digital Humanities, particularly in areas like social networks and digital activism.
