Overview

Other objectives of the 2nd Cycle degree Physics at  Universidade de Aveiro include:

• provide flexible study paths, the broad range of options available allows the student to define either a more theoretical, computational or applied course profile;
• offer the possibility of advancing knowledge in specialised areas from the nano to the universe scales, in, for example, the areas of fundamental physics, information technologies, data analysis, networks and complex systems, alternative energy sources   and development of new materials.

• prepare students for a career in Physics either in an academic (higher education institutions) or a business environment.
