The Arab Master in Democracy and Human Rights from Saint Joseph University of Beirut  includes research-oriented courses and practical trainings in the field of human rights and democratisation. Academic requirements

The programme offers two tracks depending on the student’s academic background:

  • One-year track: For candidates who hold the equivalence of a first-year master’s degree (M1 or its equivalence) in social sciences (240 European credits, 60 of which are considered as post-graduate level).
  • Two-year track: For candidates who hold a bachelor’s degree (180 European credits).

Additional studies and practical experience in the area of human rights in inter-governmental, governmental, or non-governmental organisations are a plus. Proficiency in written and spoken English is required for both tracks.
