Mathematics: The general fields of calculus, linear algebra, vector calculus, differential equations, numerical methods, should be covered to a combined extent of approximately 20-25 ECTS.

Physics: The general fields of classical physics, mechanics, thermodynamics, optics, spectroscopy, electrical circuits, electromagnetism, solid state physics should be covered to a combined extent of 20-25 ECTS.

Chemistry, biology, biotechnology, materials: The general fields of inorganic and general chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, biochemistry/proteins/lipids/DNA, materials science, microbiology/cellular systems/molecular cell biology/molecular biology, biomaterials, engineering materials, manufacturing and processing methods, polymers, nanomaterials, nanotechnology should be covered to a combined extent of 60-100 ECTS.
